I had been in contact with April and Jodi, setting up a consultation time when I got an usual phone call.  It was Jodi, VERY EXCITED and slightly nervous.  She wanted to surprise April and propose to her and wanted to see if she could do it at my studio at the consultation so I could photograph it.  I naturally said yes, what an experience to be a part of!

After a day of rushing around delivering items and trying to keep everything a secret, April and Jodi showed up at my place.  Jodi and I had to pretend like we hadn’t just spend an hour together that day plotting the details, and I think we did a pretty good job.  April was completely unaware, even as I led them to my backyard.  She thought I laid out rose petals and lit candles for all my clients 😉  Then it dawned on her when Jodi asked her to sit down.  It was such a special moment!  I’ll let the images do the talking…
