Brad and Shannon were married today!
Brad’s dad said it best in his speech, “if you aren’t having fun, its your own fault!” It was SO true of this day, because Brad and Shannon are FUN. And they wanted their day to be FUN. Not even the rain could stop this group from celebrating! Friends and family gathered at St Olaf Catholic Church in downtown Minneapolis for the ceremony. Brad’s first glance of Shannon was as she walked down the aisle, and she looked simply stunning…he couldn’t keep his eyes off her.
The couple’s son, Kieran, wore the cutest little tux onsie, and pretty much stole the show.
After the ceremony, the rain started to let up and we jetted all over town. The couple loves Minneapolis, and we got to show the city off as we drove around.
A colorful group of ladies deserves a colorful backdrop, and I just love the floral designs by Renee’s Bouquets!
Pizza at Psycho Suzis was a must on the couple’s list, and even with a few sprinkles it felt like a tropical getaway.
Stop number two was to Sociable Cider Werks where the couple was greeted with cheers and whistles, and even got a game of foosball in!
Brad and Shannon live in a highrise with a gorgeous view of the downtown skyline. The roof top common space was perfect for their reception. With all the clouds gone, and a lovely balmy breeze, it was the PERFECT summer night. Common Roots Catering provided a delicious spread of food perfect for grazing and the bacon cupcakes from Angel Food Bakery had guests lining up with excitement. We had to fight them off just to get a picture before they disappeared!
The couple had an emotional first dance performed by Kim Marie Fragodt, and then it was time to start the party!
Brad and Shannon, it has been such a fabulous journey celebrating with you! Thank you for having us be a part of your lives! Enjoy your sneak peek!
