Sweet Teddy is the luckiest little one! His parents are over the moon in love with him. His portrait session was spent with snuggles, singing and smiles…and at the very end, the pups got to join, too!

There is no surprise why autumn is when everyone wants family pictures taken. Leaves for kids to play in, nice weather, gorgeous colors…and we got them all with this session. Extra bonus was getting to photograph with Guinness, the darling family pup.

The Birth of Wilder
Sweet little Wilder has been welcomed into this world. This baby has been on a JOURNEY! His parents have battled with infertility and have been very gracious to share their journey with the world as they struggled. Kolby’s blog, Journey to Jake Babies, is full of raw emotion and helpful information, and you can’t help but cheer this couple on even if you haven’t met them. The birth was no exception. After being induced at 41 weeks, Kolby spent three days in labor without much progression, the stress building as they wanted this little guy out safely. I think Kolby’s mom got only a handful of hours of sleep the entire time, and Jake’s parents were with them as well, helping to run errands and anxious to meet Wilder.
Kolby is a successful business owner that is highly organized, so for this type A mama to have everything out of her hands and being forced to play a waiting game with no structure was really tough for her. But she did an amazing job, and she sure kept the hospital staff entertained, especially since her birthing playlist was mostly rap. Watching the OBGYN tap his foot to T-Pain was pretty awesome. And in between pushes, Kolby would rap to her favorite lyrics. It was quite a roller coaster of energy and emotion.
I love this image, of Jake’s concern for Kolby while she pushes and her mom praying in the background. Her mom was like this pretty much the entire time Kolby was pushing.
And then precious Wilder was here! Barely a peep, sweet as can be, ready to snuggle close to mom.

Flannel and Duck Feet
Babies E & T had their newborn session today! These little guys are so adorable! Papa and Mama are raising them with a love for the outdoors, crooning to them in Norwegian and plenty of flannel. After a bit of time in the NICU, these guys are ready to take the world by storm, and I was honored to capture a few moments of this new family together.
These little duck foot booties were hand made by a friend…cutest thing ever!

Newborn G
Sweet Baby G’s birth has long been anticipated! He is the most precious little guy, and the fourth of his name, which I find just so cool!
Though he was sleeping most of the time, George gave us a little bit of awake time and the most perfect Gerber Baby face.
George is surrounded by his Winnie the Pooh friends, what a sweet heart!
