Yesterday the American Heart Association had their annual Heart and Stroke Gala at The Depot in Minneapolis. Cardiovascular disease kills 870,000 Americans a year, so even with decades of hard work and progress, more still needs to be done. This black tie gala was full of doctors, former patients (one that had had a heart transplant just four months ago!), and friends enjoyed great food, browsed the awesome silent auction items, and were treated to a lovely dinner. The ice rink was covered in a temporary floor, and Live Design Productions combined simplicity with elegance by transforming the room into an all white wonderland.
