Justin and Christine were married in Hawaii this April, and today had their Minnesota reception.
We had an amazing time on Maui with Justin, Christine and their friends, so today was so familiar and comfortable. The couple got to rock two very different wedding looks, from breezy island natural for the ceremony to glamorous vintage for the reception. Seriously, every wedding should take place over multiple days with a couple locations, it creates such a fun relaxed vibe! The ladies prepped for the day at a bridesmaid’s house with Cristina Ziemer Beauty and Allie Knutson from Sunbear wowing with their makeup and hairstyling skills. Justin got primped by the Sunbear staff as well…though it looks like his brother also helped…
Christine wore a lovely lace gown from The Wedding Shoppe and simply rocked her vintage inspired look.
The reception took place at Kellerman’s Event Center in White Bear Lake. This historic venue is full of personality and incredibly eclectic. Pretty much photography heaven. We enjoyed working in the space so much!
With such a lovely day, we had to venture outside for some images as well. The sky was so blue, the weather so perfect! We love how bright and vibrant the portraits turned out!
A to Zinnia created such a stunning bouquet for Christine, it was picture perfect.
At the reception, guests were treated to the freshest most delicious dinner! The Deco Catering has always been one of our favorites and they blew us out of the water with tonight’s meal. Justin and Christine hit the vendor jack pot with this wedding. Between Deco’s amazing food, Cocoa and Fig‘s decadent dessert table, A to Zinnia’s centerpieces, Paper Thick Ink‘s lovely designs, and Lance Conrad’s of Human’s Win! crazy deejay talent, this reception rocked from start to finish.
The couple took dance lessons from Krista Haskins of Pazaz Dance, and surprised everyone with a choreographed first dance.
Justin and Christine, enjoy your sneak peek! Thank you so much for sharing your fantastic wedding adventures with us!
