Facebook is a marvelous thing…because of social media, I was able to meet and become friends with Larisa, who lives near San Fransisco. And it became fabulous happenstance that we had a flexible day in our travels where I could do a Day in the Life session with her family while we were out in California. We started off with morning baths and chocolate chip waffles.
As Larisa made waffles, the kids played and relaxed (and dad snuck in a game or two of candy crush). It was a very chill morning.
Breakfast was followed with some playtime in the breezy morning.
Back inside, the two older kids had some craft time with dad and Grandma. This picture is awesome…notice how Jake is karate chopping the paper and the paper doll is flying out!
Then came the big part of the day. The most important ritual out there. Saturday lunch at Chipotle. I can’t even stress to you how into Chipotle this family is. It was awesome. They know all the staff by name and are fully dedicated to this company.
Some serious YUM.
The afternoon was full of little family errands. The farmer’s market, library and yogurt with Grandma.
Back home, the baby took a nap and the kids tried to be quiet 😉
But we eventually went outside where we could make some noise.
Why yes, they ARE sword fighting with curtain rods…
After dinner, we headed out to a park as the sun started to set. Time for family portraits!
The baby even got some play time!
Overall, this was a lovely day with such a fun family! And it was awesome to get to work in beautiful Northern California! Enjoy the sneak peek!
