Little Sophia wrote the book on being a two year old. She is vivacious, darling, funny, and full of energy. She made me use all my funny voices and kept me on my toes the entire session, and I loved every minute. The beauty of lifestyle portraits is that you get to be in your own home, around the things you love…and Sophia loves Care Bears. She knows them all by name, their colors, everything. So we made sure to get her favorite toys in some images as well. Fortunately, Sophia has fantastic parents that encourage her personality to shine!

Purple Neigh

Adalynn had her two year old portrait session today! The house was decked out for her birthday party…all in purple. Adalynn LOVES purple. She also loves horses, which she calls a Neigh. What an adorable little girl. It has been fun seeing her grown up!

Though bribery in the form of a neigh heart sucker was needed, she started to smile and enjoy herself, especially when mom put on some dance music. The exact opposite of Adalynn was her big brother, who wanted to be in all the pictures too! He settled for playing a tea party at the end =)

Happy Birthday Lyra!

Lyra is now two! She is our youngest and it is so weird to see her grow up. For our family birthday party, we wanted to have delicious dessert, so of course I called up Jessica’s Cakes to get something yummy. Lyra’s favorite color is purple, so we decided on purple cupcakes. Jessica designed four different looks and they were such a hit! The kids were on a sugar high all night, but it was so worth it to see them covered in frosting.

Happy birthday to my gorgeous girl, so full of personality and joy. She is always laughing and running after her siblings, her little buddha belly sticking out of her shirt. She loves Diego, horses, stuffed animals and cuddling with her parents. I’m still hoping she had red hair, we’ll see! ; )
