Today we had a fun family session in Minneapolis. It was a blustery fall evening but Beckett had a TON of energy, so we stayed warm just chasing him around =) And little Cooper’s big blue eyes were amazing. Though he was a bit more mellow, he had his smiles ready!
Both boys were all smiles and had a great time playing with mom and dad.

The last time I saw Luke and Christie was on their wedding day ten years ago…and they look exactly the same, but with three darling kids as well =) I had such a great time catching up with them as we played along the river. The whole family is so fun loving and creative, it is a blast hearing about their many adventures!

I really wanted to show Luke’s awesome tattoos with the delicacy of the kids’ hands.

Sweet Daniel had his newborn session today, at 5 days old. He is truly a miracle baby, and oh so sweet.
Big sister is enjoying the new arrival, and I love that she gets special brother sister time before going to bed.
I enjoy doing newborn sessions in the clients’ home because it gives us a “day in the life” look to the images.
And then Daniel opened his eyes and melted us with his cuteness =)
I brought along my suitcase prop, and we utilized the light on the front step.

We went up to Duluth to photograph little Macy. What a doll!
After shooting weddings in 100+ degree weather it was nice to be up in Duluth, where it was a balmy 80 ; ) We had fun doing family portraits outside in the shade….
…though I don’t think she liked the outfit change and setting…
…until she saw DADDY!
The last outfit went much better, maybe Macy is a little bit rock n’ roll just like her mamma?
