Ainsley turned six a few months ago and now wants her hair cut short, so I thought it was high time to take some portraits of her before the transformation.

This kid is a wonder.  Whip smart and not afraid to speak up, yet reserved, thoughtful and very shy initially.  She is the classic middle child, trying to keep up with her big brother and playing rough, yet giggling and softly playing for hours with her little sister.  She wants to roller skate and skate board and and looks every bit the California surf chick with a boogie board.  She wants to be a paleontologist when she grows up which is a far cry from last year’s career choice of “rock star”.

She is SUCH a little pixie…mischievous, bright, curious, shy, and funny.
