Linda and Gary were married…three years ago! Yep, this is what happens when you photograph your own mother’s wedding…sometimes the work falls to the wayside, I never blogged this wedding!
My mom is a total hippie, and wanted to be married on the summer solstice. She and Gary chose Nicollet Island Inn for their venue which had flexible spaces as well as amazing food. We worked with the talented Carra of La Petite Fleur for mom’s glorious bouquet full of color and representing her home state of California with beautiful poppies and her and Gary’s love of Scotland represented with thistles. One half of Studio Laguna utilized his MC talents (as well as officiant license) by marrying the couple, and family was involved in everything, from event design to reading during the ceremony.
It was truly a lovely day, and I’m happy to honor their third year anniversary with this blog post! (is the anniversary gift for year three a blog post?)
I love this first image, they are SO HAPPY and just have eyes for each other.

John delivered a tender and funny homily.
Gary and Linda, thank you for trusting us to tell the story of your day. And thanks, mom, for being such a good client you never bugged me to blog your wedding! Love you.
