By the time you are 39 weeks pregnant you are SO ready to have that baby come out. 40 weeks and you start getting antsy. Poor Alison was finally induced after waiting almost 42 weeks. But she handled her labor and delivery like a spartan. I arrived literally minutes before the baby was born and Alison was surrounded by midwives and a fantastic support team. Everything was so peaceful and quiet, and she did all of this with no pain meds! The only noise I heard was an exuberant, “OH! Baby Rose!” as the baby was born. Daddy even got to finish delivering the baby and placed her on mama’s chest. What a beautiful birth it was!
When asked how she felt afterwards, Alison said she was “ecstatic”.
Congratulations Frank and Alison, thank you so much for letting me document this amazing day! Enjoy your sneak peek!
