Patrick and Carrie were married yesterday!
This autumn wedding combined the style of a city girl with the warmth and laid back nature of a country boy…and it was a fabulous mix. Since this was a destination wedding for these Minnesotans, the wedding turned into a weekend affair, with the wedding party all staying together at Echo Bay Resort. BB Cosmetic Bar made all the girls look fabulous while the guys donned their fancy jeans and pinned on boutonnieres hand made by the groom.
After beautifying was done, the group hopped on a bus to The Enchanted Barn. John and I were SO excited to get to shoot here! It is one of the most popular wedding venues in the area, and for good reason. The space is lovely and the staff was fantastic. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the coordinator worked with our group to pull this day off!
Carrie thought of everything from a custom photo wall to hankies for the guests’ tears at the ceremony, to an arrangement of shoes to compliment her wedding looks.
A friend of the bride designed the floral arrangements, which were a combination of ivory, burgandy, rose and pink. Perfect for fall.
The guys had their Tuff Jeans and cowboy hats ready to put on, but first, the groom got prepped to see his bride.
The Enchanted Barn has such beautifully manicured grounds…complete with props like this old truck. And they are pet friendly! The couples’ favorite furry ones were able to be a part of the day as well.

The kids were SO CUTE!
For the ceremony, Carrie made her grand entrance from the pasture, and had an emotional walk down the aisle with her dad.
Patrick’s vows were awesome! He told Carrie she was the jam in his jelly roll. He had everyone rolling with laughter.

The guests went downstairs for cocktail hour and were greeted by beautiful vignettes Carrie had painstakingly designed. Carrie had an amazing AMAZING support staff of friends and family that helped her vision become reality.
