Today I had a Day in the Life session in St. Paul. A Day in the Life is when I spend waking up until bedtime with your family. I want to photograph the relationships and activities as they unfold and capture images that tell a story. It isn’t full of contrived poses and matching outfits, it is real life. Today’s session had me in a household full of animals, affection and energy. I seriously tried to narrow down the images to a manageable number, but since the whole point of this is to tell a story, I am showing quite a few images for this sneak peek. Enjoy!
After a morning of lessons, it is time for lunch!
Time for a trip to the library and then the bike shop.
Back home, Grandma joined the family for a game of Sorry…the weather was so lovely, perfect for hanging out on the porch and biking around the block.
Family portrait time!
The kids love piano lessons with Grandma!
After piano lessons, the fantastic decision was made to make lamb chops for dinner.
Amazing. That is all. Amazing.
Some after dinner entertainment.
Time for bed…sorry I got the kids all hyper… 😉
oh…wait…so we AREN’T going to bed yet?
Ok, seriously, time to settle down…
…finally calming down with book.
I hope you enjoyed this Day in the Life!

How did we do all of this in one day? We don’t usually get this much done in a week! And lamb chops, also. haha
