M and E had their first birthday party yesterday! Mamma is so talented and put together the most darling Very Hungry Caterpillar Party for her little ones…complete with all the food from the book!
Since Mamma is a photographer as well, there are a million fantastic pictures of the kids, so I concentrated on detail shots and moments with the family. The biggest benefit of having a photographer at events like this is that it frees you up to actually enjoy the moments as they happen!
Since this family eats healthy (kudos to you guys!) this was the kids’ first cake. They didn’t quite know what to do with themselves.
After getting cleaned up, it was back to time with family. After opening presents (in double) the kids were passed from person to person and got a ton of kisses. What a fun day!
