Studio Laguna has started to work with LifeStyle Interiors to photograph Sarah’s lovely interior design work. You may remember Sarah from such blog posts as this one of her professional headshots…wouldn’t you want someone THIS awesome designing your spaces?!?!?!
I went to school for interior design, so I LOVE gigs like this. I get to see beautiful spaces and photograph them to show off both the details and the overall view of the room. Photographing architecture isn’t just about lining things up and shooting wide angle, it is about drawing the viewer in and letting them get the vibe of the space. We had a great time driving to two of Sarah’s recent jobs in the countryside as the snow fell in HUGE flakes (and coffee was involved, always a plus!)
The first stop was a guest bedroom and bath in beautiful shades of neutrals, grays and blues with some pops of orange as well. It felt like a plush high end hotel.
The next stop was another bathroom, this one more formal with some whimsical details as well.
I love tile so much! I react to it like most women react to jewelry =) This tile was so awesome!
So, here are some of my favorite details of the spaces! Images like this with high impact and a little bit of ambiguity can really draw a potential client in. Check out LifeStyle Interior’s facebook page to keep up to date with her work. Sarah’s blog is informative and a really fun read as well!
