Greg and Michelle were married today!
The couple celebrated the first day of fall with a lovely backyard wedding, bountiful harvest of food, and vintage decor. It was a perfect crisp day and Michelle had been planning, prepping and designing for months to pull everything together. Michelle’s friends joined her that afternoon while she got ready, music was pumping and excitement was high.
As the owner of Rudy’s Rustic Rentals, she naturally had a vintage rustic vibe to her decor, which featured her hand made farm tables. Michelle worked closely with Nutmeg Style to created a cohesive look. Meg designed all the flowers, and coordinated the entire wedding. Lovely furniture from The Vintage Type, and a tent and draping from Ultimate Events transformed Greg and Michelle’s backyard into a lovely reception site.
The house has been in Greg’s family since the 1930’s and Michelle and Greg put a lot of blood sweat and tears into revitalising the home and transforming the backyard. It was only fitting to have the wedding at the home that was so central to Greg’s family.
We had to feature the front of the house in a few images!
After the ceremony, guests were treated to a delish assortment of appetizers from Chowgirls and enjoyed drinks poured by who was soon to be everyone’s favorite bartender =)
All the vintage details were out of this world. They were incorporated into everything, including cheese box lids for food labels and eggs baskets to hold a variety of delectables.
Parisota played vibrant jazz as guests mingled into the night.
The guests were AWESOME! I had such a blast watching them enjoy the evening!
Towards the end of the night, another surprise for the guests…the Bacon Trolley pulled up for a late night snack. There was quite a line that formed for all the yummy treats, and quite a few exclamations of “this is the best wedding EVER!” was heard.
Greg and Michelle, thank you SO much for having me be a part of your day. Here is your sneak peek, enjoy!
