Jeremy and Jenni were married today!
We were fortunate enough to be able to do outdoor portraits inbetween rain storms. Not five minutes after we all got back inside the church, the rain fell so violently you couldn’t see out the windows! Yet a rainy wedding day didn’t phase Jenni. In fact, friends and family kept commenting on how cool and calm the whole wedding party was. I think everyone was just so darn happy to see Jenni and Jeremy get married =)
Jenni chose a black and white color scheme for the wedding with accents of red and silver. Ashley Fox Designs created youthful, fun arrangements of red and white that looked so vibrant against the bridesmaids’ black dresses. Jenni planned most of her decor around rentals from What a Wedding, and kept things simple and clean.
The ceremony took place at Woodbury Lutheran Church and was officiated by Jenni’s youth pastor. It was a very beautiful ceremony, with Jenni’s grandfather speaking to the couple, a sweet rose ceremony, lovely music and meaningful readings. Jenni was just gorgeous in her sparkly dress and dressed the modern church up with tulle pew bows and a multitude of candles.
During the ceremony, the rain cleared up and by the time we all left the church, it was dry and steamy outside again. At River Oaks Golf Course, we took a few images on the green with the group and some romantic images of Jenni and Jeremy. Taking the kissy pictures with these two was such a great experience. Jeremy couldn’t stop kissing Jenni, and she had the cutest giggle and biggest smile whenever she looked into his eyes. These two were soaking up every moment of their day and loving it!
Inside, guests enjoyed a delish dinner, an enthusiastic cake cutting (and smashing!), sweet speeches, and a much anticipated slide show. We were sat at table 12, and were deemed the most fun table…I even had a plastic fork thrown at me…long story ; ) The crazy fun at dinner was just the beginning. Midwest Sound started the dance with a sweet first dance, and emotional father daughter dance. Then the wedding party took over and filled the dance floor to capacity! I think the highlight of the night, however was the garter toss. Jeremy had to dance his way to Jenni, and if she didn’t like what she saw, she made him do it over again! Everyone had such a fun time and as we drove home with lightning flashing everywhere, we kept talking about what a crazy night it had been.
Jeremy and Jenni, thank you so much for having us be a part of your day. Here are our favorite images, enjoy!
