Last night, I photographed two events at the W Foshay.
First, in the Livingroom Bar was an event called Martinis and Manicures. The W is ready to open the doors to warmer weather, and besides their amazing new spring happy hour menu, this event was the way to do it! For $27, guests received a manicure or massage and martini. It was fun to photograph groups of girlfriends come in together, and there were quite a few mom/daughter groups as well. After photographing this event for a while, I got in the elevator to shoot the other…and what a 180 degree switch!
The second event was called Men of Distinction, held 27 stories up in Prohibition Bar. Fred Noe himself came to introduce the group to Jim Beam’s newest whiskey, Knob Creek. International Cigars rolled cigars for patrons, while servers gave out delicious appetizers and samples of the whiskey. It got so packed up there, it was a relief to escape to the elevators by the end of the night! These bars have quite the night life!
Oh, and I have to give a shout out to Violet’s Flowers for the gorgeous arrangements at both parties!
Bummed that you didn’t know about these events? Be sure to go to the facebook fanpages of the bars and the hotel and “like” them. They each run contests and deals. And this way, you’ll always be in the know, especially since the Martinis and Manicures event will happen once a month this summer! Here are a few images from the events =)
